Monday Monday

It was so cold this am, the varnish was gelled in the can. Had to move URCHIN inside the warehouse to get a coat on her transom and stem. Pretty soon she'll have to have a coming out party.

The shop was busy today, the boss in his tower, the woodchuck on TORCH was having at it, and SILENT MAID was getting another layer of resin in her fridge. FISH STIX had all her spars planned and the spruce planed to thickness.

The night crew worked on milling all the tuck-up spar spruce. That was Mike and Ron on the planer. Paul and I worked on the coaming corrections for FISH STIX, cut a tiller, and then Mike & Ron helped attach the parts. Corner blocks were cut for the stern, the stern toerail was removed, new angled holes drilled and reattached, and then partially removed again. It was time to go home.
