Sent 320' of spruce through the jointer today. This is a great power feeder. Provides even pressure and speed of those 20' long boards over the cutterhead. It is a little old; the feed rollers are not quite round anymore and it's many axes make adjustments a patience building experience. That has to be worth one atta girl.
A few of the boards are bent along the long axis. This is called a crook and to fix it, snap a chalk line and either trim the corners with the bandsaw or use a portable power plane at 90º to take the comers down. Then it can be run through the jointer.
TORCH got her new deck epoxied on.
