This was the bid-n-buy nite. The ultimate recycling event for old boating stuff. You get to pay for the privilige of reading old books and magazines or buying someone else's old junk without the embedded energy of actually recycling it into something new. It stays the same old stuff, you keep it for a year and enjoy it, then bring it back next April to recycle it again.
