Rudder

Cut out a rudder for the sharpie and painted the studio. Well, actually cut the rudder out twice, One of the benefits of working in a shop with an active boat designer is the constant improving on the design. The earlier version has a bit more traditional look, but has a lot more drag and weight. This version will have a higher trailing edge so the wash won't spill over the top of the foil and a vertical aft edge. I am going to laminate the plywood core in kevlar and carbon fiber using MAS Flag epoxy.

Made a Facebook page for the Delaware River Chapter of the Traditional Small Craft Association.

It's a slow day for me, so, I get to snoop around on the blog pages. Your's, dear sis, is one of the first I visit. I loved the package; I wore my hat and mitties to walk Jess. I'm so sorry for the loss of your dear friend. I have sweet memories from our visit.
