

Went Barnegat Bay sailing with friends, a bit late for the real solstice so the greenheads were out.
Reports were that ELF had most of her sticks via MOSHULU's bowsprit. Fancy that, the great clipper relegated to a shearhulk. John is nothing if not creative. My guess is that she is on her way up to NYC for the Mayor's Cup. Pictures from www.woodboatbuilder.com

I missed all the earlier action with ELF, I was at the cape in June, sailing URCHIN in Pleasant Bay.
